Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. warrants to you, the original retail purchaser, for a period of one year from the date of purchase, all leather to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, seam slippage, cracking, and dye transfers.

Is Ashley Furniture extended warranty worth it?

Furniture salespeople may make a strenuous effort to sell you an extended warranty. These plans are typically pitched as though they offer added protection and extend the retailer's warranty. Extended furniture warranties are never a good idea. They invalidate the manufacturer's warranty and are loaded with exclusions.

Ashley manufactures living room, dining room, bedroom, entertainment, home office furniture and other home furnishings in the USA and internationally. Manufacturing and distribution facilities are located in Wisconsin, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Florida, Vietnam and China.

Why is 2022 furniture so long?

The time it's taken to rebuild the factories has disrupted the furniture industry so greatly that you can expect delays anywhere from 60 days to a year for foam reliant pieces. Once again, people are still needing new furniture, so demand is up, product is low, so prices go higher.

How do I find the model number of my Ashley furniture?

The model number can be found on the product label located on the product.

Not supportive of non-sales employees

It's all about the salespeople. Despite what other departments do to support store operations, their importance is ignored. The pay rate is low, their are few, if any, opportunities for bonuses and advancement opportunities are practically nonexistent. In addition, benefits could use some upgrading.

Guest representative

It was a seasonal job. It was good. I learned some things. Was able to talk to customers and learning how to do credit applications. Pay was good. Recommend it.

Stressful at this location

Ashley Furniture could be a great place to work, but only when they have their stuff together at corporate. Since I have worked for Ashley, things have been so crazy at the corporate office that supervises the store in my region that it made it hard to go to work everyday. Pay is great, but the mental and emotional strain is no joke!

Cliquish Work Environment

Inexperienced management lack of communication. Unfair and unethical business and employment practices! Ashley has no concept of work/life balance, no weekends off.

I was hoping for a better opportunity!

The job seemed to be to be picture perfect After interviewing over the phone and in person. I got a week and a half of training and then I was on my own. That was very difficult on me. I learned quickly but became very overwhelmed without staff and not allowed to hire the staff needed. I was promised so much and never delivered.

Conflicted

The company is disorganized! The expectations change daily and do does the upper management. They do try to create a fun environment but it’s a mess! HR is sleeping with employees then firing people for attempting to expose them. Managers that work in the same location are sleeping together so when they fight the mood for the store changes.

poor cooperate support

what is promised as cooperate support is not given, one is left to fend for themselves most of the time. consistently had to lie to guests about products and arrival times.

Would not recommend

Would not recommend working here for DSG. These set of franchises say they are family oriented when they are not. Customer service title at the store is a joke. When there is an issue they are told to call the corporate store in Memphis where the representatives are rude and not knowledgeable.

Ashley Furniture a Christian Company

Ashley Furniture maintains a culture that honors their customers and employees alike. The hours are convenient because the store does not open until 10 am each day. The store closes at the latest, 9 pm. The employees are fun-loving and friendly. They seem to genuinely enjoy each other's company.

Poor management

I was still new and the managers and trainers felt bothered by me asking for help with something. They taught me a piece of information and I wouldn't need it for a few weeks and they expected me to remember it. They were rude and rolled their eyes when I would ask them a question. it was very cliquey there.

They push people out and gossip

Was fired for unknown reason and their HR will not even contact back to tell why. They chose favorites & will push you to quit. Will make you hate it.

Great work staff and lovely customers

Co-workers have been nothing but amazing, the management is absolutely generous. I just recently moved to Brunswick, and started this job. It has been an experience to grow in my guest relations skills.

Do not apply

One of the worst companies to work for in Memphis. Pay is ok, hours are ok, insurance is higher than Wiz Khalifa. Run away run away fast.

Professional workplace where I gained excellent work experience

At Ashley Furniture I accepted the position of Guest Experience Representative. I worked alongside my coworkers to ensure the guests' product was ordered correctly and accepted payment. During and after the checkout process I entered guest information into the store's computer using the STORIS computer system, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.

Would not Reccomend as a long term job

corporate does little to help with guest issues out of control, pay is not worth hours put in as they don't pay much so keeping a staff is next to impossible

barely any training

Great direct management some support for issues that arise and able to advise on proper processes. But mostly left on your own to figure things out. Christian based culture.

Ashley Doesn't Value Employees

The only real good part about working here is your co-workers. It is a fun environment when the managers aren't around. There is a lot of turnover, so you are bound to meet new people!

Poor management staff

its a good opportunity to start your administrative and customer service career.
