Dorime refers to a lyrical part from the French new-age electronica group Era's song Ameno, which is frequently combined with the doge variant Cheems, Vocaloid character Hatsune Miku, and the pray emoticon (🙏). While the song was initially popularized in remixes in 2014 and 2015, remixes with Cheems and Miku didn't occur until late 2019.

Origin

On December 17th, 2019, Youtuber MurdockCakeLie [1] uploaded a video collage of the doge variant Cheems with the pray emoticon in front of it, accompanied by the lyrics of "Ameno," The video received over 850,000 views in a month (shown below, left).

Spread

On December 18th, 2019, one day after the versions by MurdockCakeLie, Youtuber Sigma [2] uploaded an edited version of MurdockCakeLie's video which changed the song to their vocaloid cover (shown below, left) and added Miku's hair to the images. The video gained over 1.8 million views in a month (shown below, right).
