My Wife Won LoToJa!
My wife recorded the fastest time at LoToJa this past weekend with a time of 9:44:15.7. Even though she is still just a Cat4 rider, she kicked it into another gear with 10 miles remaining and came in over a minute ahead of the Cat1 ladies she had been working with all day.

My first flat
Had my first flat today. I’ve watched Chris Horner swap a flat on YouTube a few times but never did it in practice. I was finishing up swapping the tube and I looked up and another cyclist had crossed over to my side and was approaching me. He immediately asked if I was okay and asked if I needed a spare tube or any tools.

It gets to about 125* in the summer here, so I had to take about 3 months off. On my ride today I hit 1004.6 miles sonce January. I am hoping I can hit 2k by the end of the year as we go into colder weather and more finess.
Someone threw a log across the road during our cat 3 race today
Luckily I was not racing but someone threw a log across the length of the downhill section at the crit today. Absolutely messed a rider up and had to call an ambulance. AT A WEEKLY RACE. This is just super upsetting to see someone go down because of someone being malicious.
