You'll need to have the codes read from the computer. You will have a code that indicates one of the front wheel sensors is bad. This could be the case, but they are very expensive as they are built into the wheel bearing assemblies.

I can't answer the question about the gas fumes, but I had the same problem last year with the "Service Traction Sysytem" message and the Trac and ABS lights coming on in my Impala. Mine turned out to be because of a bad wheel bearing, that was causing the ABS and traction system not to work.

you'll have to have it diagnosed at a repair shop to pinpoint the source. sorry, but thats how they make them. you could buy your own but it'll cost about 200$

These are WARNING lights! They are trying to warn you that there is a malfunction in your brake and traction control systems. The most common problem would be that one of your wheel speed sensors are not working properly. The only way to find out for sure is to access the computer system data and find out why it has been turning the lights on.
